This year, in late February, it was revealed that renowned American singer, rapper, and songwriter Post Malone would be the executive producer of the game’s soundtrack. Despite the number of awards and recognitions under the artist’s belt, not everyone was happy with the decision.

With the game out for early access to a few, the reviews for his work are in. One player on Reddit disagreed with the singer’s involvement in the soundtrack.

The replies seemed to agree with OP for the most part:

Yeah, they haven’t had a decent soundtrack in 5-6 years now (a handful of songs excluded)

One reply suggested manually changing the soundtrack to use the wrestlers’ theme songs, and one player fully agreed:

It’s the first thing I do every year. They could save so much money it they just stopped putting licensed music that’s not a wrestlers theme in it because those licenses can be expensive.

There was an odd one out that completely disagreed with the others:

strong disagree, best soundtrack we’ve had in years. turnstile alone sold me

Opinions for the game’s soundtrack are divided, but as time goes on, people might eventually warm up to it.

  • Busta Rhymes: Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See

  • Militarie Gun: Do It Faster
  • Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs: Big Rig
  • Speed: Not That Nice

The singer didn’t just provide the soundtrack for WWE 2K24; he’s stepping into the ring for the first time and joining the roster, marking his debut in the game’s universe.
