There are endless possibilities for what’s to come in the next chapter of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man franchise. As of now, there are no official confirmations on what’s next for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker after the groundbreaking Spider-Man 4: No Way Home.

Recently, a few rumors about Spider-Man 4 have caught fans’ attention and if they are true, the film is going to be quite interesting, to say the least.
Exciting Rumors about Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4
Back in 2023, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that the story for Spider-Man 4 was being written down and this sent fans of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man into a frenzy. While there are no updates about the film yet, some rumors are circulating on X that have fans super excited.
For starters, the rumors suggest that there will be no changes made to Peter’s last spidey suit and fans will get to see it once again in its full glory. However, the next rumor will have you all hyped up for the fourth installment in the franchise. According to the user, Spider-Man 4 will see Peter Parker fighting Kingpin, who will be the main antagonist of the film.
Kingpin is the Mayor of NYC as well as one of the most overpowered criminals in the city. The crime boss has influence all over NYC and while he does not have any superpowers to his name, his cunning mind and ruthless personality are enough to perplex his enemies. If Kingpin a.k.a. Wilson Fisk does end up becoming Peter’s main rival in the upcoming film, it will mean that Spider-Man 4 will have a street-level story, just like the fans want.
Some Spider-Man 4 Rumors Enrage Fans
Now that the exciting rumors are out of the way, we should probably address those that have fans seething with anger. As per the rumors, the script for the film is currently being made and Sony is trying to push for yet another multiverse project. Needless to say, fans are not happy as they are hoping for Spider-Man 4 to be a grounded film that solely focuses on Holland’s Spider-Man and his quests to save New York City from dangerous villains.

On the contrary, both Marvel Studios and Holland are apparently trying to show a street-level story in Spider-Man 4 that will eventually lead to the events of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Also, while Sony is rumored to be wanting a mid-2025 release, Holland and Marvel Studios want to wait all the way until 2026.
