However, thanks to a new set of mods that have been released through the modding community, it now looks exactly like Star Wars in so many ways that you wouldn’t be able to tell it’s a different franchise.
Whether it’s the enemies, armor, weapons, or even locations, one mod gives everything enough of a tweak that you wouldn’t even be able to tell that it isn’t a Star Wars game. For many gamers, this could be the Star Wars Battlefront they have been waiting years for, and we can understand why.
Thanks to Some Amazing Mods, Helldivers 2 Can Look like Star Wars in So Many Different Ways
One of the best features of Helldivers 2 is the amount of detail that goes into every single part of the game. But for some players, this isn’t the final version of the game in their eyes, as some inventive modders have spent their time changing all kinds of models into something incredibly familiar.

For example, during a clip from YouTuber ToastedShoes, which was shared by GE Media on Twitter/X, we can see that this mod allows different models from the Automaton faction to be altered to look like droids from the separatist alliance, while also altering the Helldivers into troopers from the clone army.
That isn’t even the last of it, as the mod also alters the design of the different ships that can be seen throughout the game universe, whether they be our own dreadnaughts or the extraction ship. They can all be altered thanks to this new mod.
At the moment, there is no official modding system within Helldivers 2, which means that to use this mod, players will have to download it on PC and utilize it that way, but for those looking for a different take on the repetitive gameplay, this mod will be a perfect choice.
The Recent Star Wars Battlefront Can’t Hold a Candle to This Mod
It has been a rough time for the Star Wars franchise in terms of games, as a lot of its recent games have been canceled, failed, or received a negative response from the gaming community, bar a few successful titles like the Star Wars Jedi series, which has been the most successful game in the franchise for some time.
Especially after the recent Battlefront failures from the studio DICE, which gamers were hoping would revitalize the franchise and bring in a whole new set of games for players to enjoy, but after the loot box debacle, lack of story in the first game, and the bugs and glitches.
Now gamers can finally enjoy a game that has a similar feel to the original Battlefront games with the hectic war setting, but focuses more on the teamwork and fighting for your life aspects.
