At the current moment, we have the name of 48 planets that can be explored by players in Starfield, and due to an announcement from Bethesda, we know that only 10% of each world will have life on them, but each planet is procedurally generated so when a player travels to them for the first time they are randomised with even randomised biomes to a certain extent. Below is the list of planets that we will be able to find in Starfield.

So far, we have been informed by Bethesda’s Todd Howard that the only way to explore these planets when you land will be by foot or boost pack, as there will be no planet-based vehicles that players will be able to use, which is quite a concerning thought, but as long as the player lands with the certainty that they will be able to survive their journey planet-side, then it will be alright.

There have been descriptions of some of the planets that we will be seeing, but for now, we do not have a full view of the actual surface of the planets as Bethesda doesn’t want to entirely ruin the surprise, but what we do know is that some of these planets will have unique biomes and atmospheres with numerous characters to interact with, as players explore the vast open universe.
