Enthusiasts of other franchises such as Halo and Mass Effect did not hold back and used the mechanics of Bethesda’s RPG to replicate the most iconic spaceship visuals in the world of video games.

Pelican and Normandy may seem like random names to the general public, but not to those who have navigated galaxies virtually. These users know the sentimental value of these first-class vehicles, at least in the hearts of gamers.

Starfield arrived with great success after a long time of waiting from fans. No matter how you feel about the game, it is easy to see that one of the title’s strongest points is the customization of the ships.

The Bethesda space RPG community is gradually beginning to display its creative side and we can now see see everything from the coolest to the most bizarre ships possible.

The intention of Bethesda was for gamers to be able to create ships with their particular style, just like the playable character. However, this soon mixed with the desire to create and replicate, causing a kind of crossover by imitating the designs of other video game franchises.

On the Mass Effect side, the most recreated ship was the iconic Normandy, formally SSV Normandy SR-1 (Systems Alliance Space Vehicle Normandy Stealth Reconnaissance-1). It is a Systems Alliance starship and a prototype “deep scout” frigate, the first of the eponymous Normandy class.

The ship was co-developed by the Alliance and the Turian Hierarchy with sponsorship from the Citadel Council. It was optimized for solo reconnaissance missions in unstable regions using state-of-the-art stealth technology powered by an experimental propulsion core.

Some highlights found in the community were, for example, the Battlestar Galactica, Firefly’s Serenity, Star Trek’s USS Enterprise, and many Star Wars vessels like the Razor Crest and the Millennium Falcon.

So, if you already play, or intend to dive into the Starfield galaxy, know that ship customization is one of the most versatile mechanics in the game. It can yield hours of creativity and fun if you are a customization enthusiast like many gamers.
