The publisher has its app where all its games are featured, but these titles have been missing from Valve’s platform. The company has now announced that its most popular and classic games are coming to Steam, and will be available at big discounts.
Best Classic Electronic Arts Games Join Steam
Electronic Arts announced via a trailer that its classic games are now available on Steam at massive price cuts, including the popular RTS titles Command & Conquer and several others. The publisher has revealed that almost all the Command & Conquer games will now be available on Valve’s platform at a 50% discount for all players.
Command & Conquer is one of the most popular retro strategy games and has been very well-received by fans and critics alike. The 17 games in the franchise that are now available for sale include Red Alerts, Renegade, Generals, Tiberian Sun, and many others. Both the Dungeon Keeper titles, Dungeon Keeper Gold and Dungeon Keeper 2, are also available at a 60% price cut.
One of the most appealing games featured in the sale is The Saboteur, which is available at a 50% discount. The title launched back in 2009 and received mixed reviews, but it slowly garnered a large player base. The story sees players go on a mission to liberate France from the Nazis during the Second World War, and the game’s addition to the platform will surely excite fans.
Other Titles Featured in the Electronic Arts Classic Games Sale
The sale also features other entertainment from Electronic Arts, including Populous, Populous 2: Trials of The Olympic Gods, and Populous: The Beginning and all these games are now available at a 60% price cut. SimCity 3000 Unlimited, the city management simulation game, is also available at a 60% discount and is one of the most well-received games featured in the sale.
SimCity 3000 Unlimited allows players to re-create cities from all over the globe, build hundreds of distinct buildings, and play up to 13 challenging scenarios. SimCity 3000 Unlimited has received mostly positive reviews and currently has a 77 Metascore and an 8.4 user score on Metacritic.
Another title, Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri, the spiritual sequel to the Civilization series, which was released in 1999, is also available at a 60% discount. The game has received “very positive” reviews and lets players design their units and balance the speed, power, and toughness as per their needs.
The game features seven factions for players to choose from, and all the factions have their artificial intelligence model that makes players feel like they’re against real people. As these games are now available, more from the publisher may also come to the platform.
