The game was released on April Fool’s Day and, since then, has garnered a larger number of players playing it daily. While the game’s success is remarkable, it has resulted in players forgetting this one game that was enjoying a lot of traction before the release of the horror title.

Content Warning was free for 24 hours after its launch and was claimed by more than 6.2 million people. The game soon saw an all-time peak of over 200k concurrent players and broke into the platform’s top 10 most-played games, showing that it will not be forgotten soon.

It is still going strong after a week of its release, but it has cost the survival horror title Lethal Company its players, as with the release of Landfall’s title, the game has seen a loss in its players. Moreover, it is also streamed a lot less than before, and more players are streaming the new title.

It is currently at the 48th spot in the most played games on the platform and has 31k players in-game at the time of writing. As per SteamDB’s Twitch stats, the game’s 24-hour peak is 75,010 with more than 4k viewers at the time of writing, but as per stats, the 24-hour peak for Lethal Company is 10,533 with only 1,825 viewers.

While the game’s all-time peak is still higher, the co-op horror game is catching up soon and might match in the next few days. This shows how more and more players are flocking towards Landfall’s co-op horror game and ditching the other title for it.

Since its release, the game has dropped from the top 10 spot in the most-played games list, but it is still in 32nd place right now, leaving games like Dead by Daylight and Destiny 2 behind. It is also at the top of the trending and popular releases list on the platform.

The 24-hour peak player count for the game is 63,666; more than 50,474 players are playing the game right now. The developers also seem to be listening to the players and bringing new items to the game.

A new patch update was released on April 3rd, and it added several new items, such as Reporter Mic, Sounds Player, Party Popper, and more. Several bugs were also fixed with the update, which made the experience more smooth and enjoyable.

Developer Landfall Games is also looking into more things to add to the game once the bugs and other issues are sorted out, which could see the inclusion of new features. The game is now available at its full price, and it is definitely worth checking out.
