Skull and Bones was originally released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, the PC version exclusively available only on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft’s storefront. Although the game didn’t do very well for many reasons, limiting it to Epic Games Store was a major one as well.

But the game has now finally arrived on Valve’s platform, debuting yesterday, August 22, 2024. This platform is the go to destination for PC players and the developer now wants to attract new players, after it failed to do so with the game’s initial launch.

To make up to the players for the wait, the developer is offering the game at a 60% discount, bringing the game’s price down from $70 to $24. Moreover, the discount is also applicable on the game’s Deluxe and Premium editions, which are available at the price point of $30 and $36, respectively.

The game currently has ‘Mixed’ reviews on the platform with 63 reviews and players think it is going to be “extremely negative” soon. This is quite consistent with the reviews that the game has received since the launch.

Players have also mocked the game for its “AAAA” label and said that even free is too expensive to play the game given how bad it is. The developer has launched the game with Season 3, Into the Dragon’s Wake.

It brings new storyline around two pirate lords, Li Tian Ning and Commander Zhang. The new season also adds new ship called Battle Junk, new weapons and world events, and much more.
