Stellar Blade is right around the corner and the gaming community is ecstatic to see what South Korean developers Shift Up has in store. Sony has made another fine investment by collaborating with director Hyung-Tae Kim and already has ambitious plans for the future.
Shift Up has developed several mobile games in the past like Goddess of Victory: NIKKE and Kim confirmed that the team’s latest will eventually have a crossover that fans can look forward to soon. Fans of the developers will be eating well in the following years.
Stellar Blade Will Crossover With Another Shift Up Game
The South Korean director sat down with GamerBraves and shared details about Shift Up’s major console game. Developing a console game was a bold move for the developers and knowing that mobile games are far more prevalent and console gaming was non-existent until now. Major gaming companies like Sony and Microsoft have yet to penetrate the local market but this collaboration will surely get the ball rolling.
Kim was then asked about the previous game developed by Shift Up and chief among them was Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. There is an extremely high probability that Eve may be joining the war effort against the Raptures but Kim wants to make sure it won’t be half-baked or rushed.
“Yes, absolutely! At the right time, we will be presenting a very high-quality crossover collaboration between the two. So it’s something that you can definitely look forward to.”
Crossovers are consistently thrilling as they bring together two worlds, unravel epic storylines, and introduce something entirely different. However, it will take time for Eve to jump over and Kim promises a high-quality crossover and promises to do the fans justice.
Video games present an opportunity to give developers their fair share of recognition, and Shift Up can help its own game by adding Eve as a playable character. Both games will benefit from this collaboration and increase each other’s player count.
Sony Has Struck Gold With Shift Up’s Stellar Blade
In today’s gaming industry, developing a new game title is a challenging task that requires a lot of effort and skill. With the market being oversaturated with countless game titles, it is a risky move for any developer to enter the competition.
The stakes get even higher for those who lack prior experience in the field. Such developers need to invest a lot of time and resources to ensure that their game stands out from the crowd and attracts a significant audience.
Sony took a gamble with Shift Up but it is already paying off and the player count for the demo is proof enough that the community is open to change and something new. Kim spilled the beans with great enthusiasm and his passion for his work speaks volumes and the gaming community can rest easy and hope for the best crossover possible. Eve has the whole world in the palm of her hand and more content about her can rile up the community.
