Stellar Blade is a pretty solid game and the reception from fans and critics confirms it. Players have now been requesting a few quality-of-life changes and improvements that could make the experience even better.

One of the most requested changes is to make Lily’s completion bar properly visible in the menu at all times. Lily’s Bar is a gameplay mechanic that fills up as you explore the world, complete side quests, get datapads, and fill up other completionist data collections.

Lily’s Bar in Stellar Blade Is One of the Most Requested Changes

Lily’s Bar is quite important in the game, as it unlocks one of the three major endings for the game, and, arguably, the best one. The completion of the bar is required for the true ending of the game and is also required to be able to visit Eidos 9, one optional area in the game that has a personal connection to Lily.

I love this game, but there are some QOL updates id like.

Players have often complained that the bar isn’t very visible, nor does the game ever explicitly tell you what it does or what the benefits of filling up the bar are. In turn, plenty of players finished the game without even realizing they could visit Eidos 9, or get the true ending of the game.

While not explaining every single game mechanic does make the game more immersive and prevents hand-holding, players would still like to be able to know whether they have filled the bar or not, and this can be done by having a clear indicator be visible in the main menu at all times.

Shift Up, the developer behind Stellar Blade has been very supportive of the fanbase and has been taking feedback into serious consideration. These features and improvements will likely be added to the game via future patches.

What Are Some of the Other Stellar Blade Features That Are Requested by Fans?

Several other features are also requested by fans for the game.

Another highly requested feature is the option to have the minimap displayed in the HUD at all times. Currently, you can only see the map when pausing the game. Some of the other commonly requested features and improvements include –

  • Multiple Save Slots
  • Customizable button mapping
  • Gear loadouts, so that you can quickly switch between different playstyles
  • The option to skip Eidos 9, so that you can get all endings in one playthrough by reloading an older save file right before Lily asks you to go to Eidos 9.
  • Better fast travel, such as the option to directly travel from one area to another, instead of having to go back to Xion City and then traveling to another location.

Besides these features, Stellar Blade already had some pretty good accessibility features that were present from day one itself. These features included options to make parrying and blocking easier.

They also add HUD visibility options such as size and background. You can also turn off the motion blur and camera shake features, and have the option to autocomplete quick time events.
