A lot of things are going on in Helldivers 2 and not just the Galactic War. Players have received a new patch note that has increased the level cap in the game from 50 to 150. As players make their way through this fight for democracy, they’ll find that the game just got tougher as new planetary hazards have arrived.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going. And the retaking of the Malevelon Creek is a testament to this. Helldivers finally took long-awaited revenge from Game Master Joel. Now the new level cap is certainly be seen as a reward for this as the players might get to see some new tools to use as they advance in the game.
Helldivers 2 Players Are Hoping For New Stratagems Would Come
Following the announcement, the players were excited and furious to speculate about what they might witness in the game. One user on social media network X (formerly Twitter) hopes that new stratagems might be on the way.
“Oh man, this has to mean new stratagems are on the way! No chance we’re done with requisition points already,” she writes in his post.

Another user dubbed Gamer Gone believes that something is brewing in Helldivers 2.

This is a possibility as players are already coming across rumors that a merciless faction called Illuminate from the previous game might be making a return. It is perceived that even Automatons may appear like kids in front of them. Helldivers certainly needs an upgrade it seems.
An interesting suggestion came from a user called Na-baron Soter who wants a visible rang insignia on armors or capes.

Some players were seen asking for tips given that they hadn’t even reached level 50 yet. It will be a long journey ahead for users like Robert Simpson now.

Give us a skill tree so we can further customize our Helldiver. Have it be changeable like in games such as Void Crew

A skill tree would be great as it certainly makes customization of a helldiver a bit easier.
Something Might be Hiding Behind This Increase in Level Cap
It’s only the beginning of the game and it already is becoming a fan-favorite as players across the globe spark debates about Helldivers 2 deserving a seat at the top. With this new patch and some leaks indicating mouth-watering new content to come, the debate may get hot.
Recently, a Primordial Planet was teased on X that appeared to have the potential to become a fan-favorite like Malevelon Creek. Moreover, Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt suggested that the team might be working on a Supply Line visualization.
There’s no official announcement for new stratagems but the huge increase in the game’s level cap must not just be for the sake of numbers. Whatever it is, the developers are likely to bring something that adds fun to this fight for democracy.
