Cena’s point was to prove why costumes were so important and his Barbie co-star Margot Robbie couldn’t stop blushing and laughing at his hilarious antics. But fans also noticed how well-maintained the WWE star’s body was. His clearly demarcated abs were one of the highlights of this Oscar evening.
In comparison, another WWE wrestler-turned-actor could never dream of having the new Oscar streaker’s abs. Dwayne Johnson, who is known for his muscular, well-toned body in Hollywood, cannot have a six-pack due to medical reasons.

Families watching the Oscar night on television were in for a gasping moment when John Cena came onto the stage naked, with a small announcement card covering his private parts. Cena and Jimmy Kimmel recreated the famous Oscar streaker moment on its 50th anniversary when a streaker ran behind David Niven at the 46th Academy Awards.
Appearing from behind the wings, Cena and Kimmel had a short exchange where the Bumblebee actor told the host that he didn’t want to go through with the bit. However, Kimmel argued that the WWE star wrestles naked, to which Cena responds, “I wrestle in Jorts!”.

Cena had a reason to pull off such an antic, revealing as soon as he got to the mic, “Costumes… They’re so important!” The camera panned to his Barbie co-star Margot Robbie, who almost had secondhand embarrassment at the actor’s hilarious segment. At the end of all these antics, Holly Waddington for Poor Things was announced as the winner of Best Costume Design from the list of nominees.
One thing a few noticed was the 46-year-old WWE star’s incredibly toned body. Many fans watching the Oscars declared that the Peacemaker actor’s abs are goals. One fitness freak fan wrote on his blog, “Yes, I realize he is a professional wrestler and bodybuilder but I cannot imagine how much work it takes to maintain a body like that especially as he ages every year.”
Cena’s six-pack abs would definitely make another film star, who recently returned to WWE, very jealous. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson may be bulked up, but he cannot pull such abs due to a medical reason.

When Dwayne Johnson and Oscar-nominated actress Emily Blunt appeared in the WIRED Autocomplete interview series, one most searched Google queries about The Rock was “What is wrong with The Rock’s abs?”. The Black Adam actor laughed at the question while sharing that the question was “so f**ked up.”
Johnson revealed that he underwent a medical procedure, a triple hernia surgery, that left him with not-so-perfect abs. He shared in the interview:
“I tore the top of my quad off my pelvis in a wrestling match. That caused a chain reaction, and it tore my abdomen wall. I had to do a triple hernia emergency surgery…so they’re not like perfect abs.”
While John Cena undoubtedly worked hard for his body, the Fast Five actor has to carefully work around his medical condition to build his abs. Cena’s Oscar moment will be one to remember for ages.
