Even though Chan is a big admirer of the Rambo actor’s work, there was a time when he rejected an offer to work with Stallone. The Project A actor was offered the star-studded movie The Expendables but Chan wasn’t sure about doing the movie. As there were many big names involved, the 69-year-old actor thought his short appearance in the movie will not make sense. In an interview, Chan explained why he said no to the offer, the Hidden Strike actor said

“This morning I did hear – the office called – Sly wants me for Expendables 4. I said, ‘Okay.’ Because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn’t refuse, but I said, ‘Sly, can’t we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.’ Because then the audience is, ‘Oh!’ And then I’m gone.”
