Astro’s Playroom is a single-player 3D platformer game where players play as Astro Bot. In the game, the T-Rex boss tries to eat everything that’s in front of it and is hell-bent on destroying Astro Bot. The T-Rex keeps itself hidden and only roars from time to time after players unlock the four PS artifacts. As much fun players have while fighting and defeating the T-Rex, most of them are not aware of its significance to the platform.

There was also a stingray on demo discs for PS1. The players on PS1 would move the T-Rex in the dark space and as it was just a tech demo, there was no background but it had music. Players could zoom into the T-Rex and Stingray that swam around in the water. Both the T-Rex and Stingray were 3D models and helped players figure out the use of the controller.
