Since the show’s conclusion in October of that year, Maslany’s She-Hulk has been on the sidelines as the MCU’s Multiverse Saga has progressed.

Moreover, the scooper also hinted that the Hulk-centric project will not solely focus on the Bruce Banner iteration of Hulk but also on other characters that have borrowed the moniker. 2008’s The Incredible Hulk remains the only solo film to feature Hulk despite the MCU carrying on for nearly fifteen years. Another project focusing on the Hulk has been rumored to be in development, particularly because of the reception to Mark Ruffalo’s performance as Bruce Banner / Hulk since he took over from Edward Norton.

A film inspired by the World War Hulk storyline from the comics has been rumored to be in the works since 2012. Earlier this month, Daniel Richtman reported that Ruffalo’s Hulk will be getting a solo film. Now, a new update regarding the project comes from MyTimeToShineHello, a scooper who frequently shares updates regarding the MCU’s future on X. MTTSH shared that the project is titled World War Hulks, indicating that more than one Hulk will feature in the film.

Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk is currently the only character in the MCU to share the moniker of the Hulk, which makes her a sure bet to appear in the film. Other candidates, such as Thaddeus Ross’s Red Hulk and Hulk’s son, Skaar, could also be the “Hulks” being referred to by MTTSH. However, given that Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters’ relationship as cousins was explored in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Tatiana Maslany could be a lock to appear in the rumored project.

Although there is no official confirmation of when and where Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk will next appear in the MCU, producer Kevin Feige has confirmed that we will see the character again at some point. Furthermore, Maslany has expressed an interest in reprising the role in future MCU projects after making her debut in 2022.

In an April 2023 interview with Gold Derby, Maslany admitted wanting to return to the MCU as She-Hulk. However, the actress revealed she had no idea about future plans for her character.

“I truly have no idea, and I feel like the internet knows more than I do. But I would love to.”

In the same interview, Maslany also stated that she wanted to see She-Hulk in more unconventional situations, differentiating the stories she featured in during her solo series. Similarly, Mark Ruffalo also expressed an interest in seeing Maslany’s She-Hulk join the Avengers back in August 2022. As a result, the yet unconfirmed solo Hulk project rumored to be World War Hulks could be an ideal spot for Maslany to reprise her role as She-Hulk.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is now streaming on Disney+.
