Taylor Swift is known for being authentic and relatable. Her consistent presence is felt by both her fans and those close to her. Recently, Swift was spotted wearing a nice black and white outfit with meaningful accessories, showing off her style at the 66th Grammy Awards.
She was nominated for six Grammys at the 2024 ceremony, winning Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights. When she returned after accepting the honor, Jack Antonoff and Lana Del Rey shared a celebratory hug with her. But before sharing the hugs, Swift did a kind gesture for Del Rey, which endeared many Swifties.

Before the ceremony, Lana Del Rey was seen posing with Taylor Swift on the red carpet. But their support for each other wasn’t limited to photoshoots.
They were seen supporting, hugging, cheering, and complimenting each other at the ceremony. Even the Cruel Summer singer had a speech ready for 38-year-old mate.
She first thanked her friend Jack Antonoff for working together and also thanked Laura Sisk, Serban Ghenea, Sam Dew, and Sounwave for their roles in her work. The West Reading native then added (via Elle) :
“Lana Del Rey, who is hiding, but I think so many female artists would not be where they are and would not have the inspiration they have if it weren’t for the work that she’s done. I think she’s a legacy artist, a legend in her prime right now. I’m so lucky to know you and to be your friend. I would love to tell you that this is the best moment of my life, but I feel this happy when I finish a song or when I crack the code to a bridge that I love or when I’m shotlisting a music video or when I’m rehearsing with my dancers or my band or getting ready to go to Tokyo to play a show.”

Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey make a great musical pair. They first worked together on Swift’s 2022 song Snow on the Beach. The Eras Tour performer even dropped another version of the Midnights track with more verses from Del Rey.
Why Didn’t Lana Del Rey Win a Grammy This Year?
At the 66th Grammys, Lana Del Rey was seen wearing a cute black floral dress with puffy sleeves and a bow in her hair. She had black gloves with bows, a black handbag, and Fred Leighton jewels. Even her heels too had bows, keeping up with the current trend.
Del Rey was nominated for five awards this year, bringing her total career nominations to 11. Her album Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd got nominated for Best Alternative Music Album and Album of the Year. Although women ruled the major categories, the NY city native was unable to catch the break.
In June 2023, the Recording Academy changed the rules for the category. To earn a nomination, music creators must be part of at least 20% of an album.
Del Rey is on only one song, falling short of the 20% requirement. But Swift praised the Doin’ Time star during her acceptance speech, which reassured many.
