In a recent interview with Glamour (via Instagram), the actress shared that she absolutely hates when someone takes a photo of their food before eating. Stating that she doesn’t feed her camera, Bobby Brown went on to show that her phone showed a picture of penne alla vodka when she searched ‘food’ in her gallery.

“I do not take pictures of my meals. That is where I draw the line. My camera does not eat first. I think it’s just ridiculous. ‘Put your phone down. Eat your meal!’. I don’t actually even think I have one picture of a meal, ever.”

She further continued,

“I typed in ‘food’ on my camera roll. This is what I’m trying to explain someone, [holding up a picture of penne alla vodka]. I’m trying to explain someone that I wanted this but never have I ever taken a picture of my food or drink. Cringe”

Having a net worth of $14 million, Millie Bobby Brown can surely say that statement in her interview but getting there was a very difficult road. Talking about failures and rejections, Bobby Brown revealed that she was rejected from HBO’s Game of Thrones once and that devastated her!

Before her breakthrough role as Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown approached HBO to audition for a role in Game of Thrones. The role of Lyanna Mormont of Bear Island could have been Brown’s for the taking if she wouldn’t have been rejected by HBO. Talking about it in an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress shared that she realized how difficult this industry was after getting rejected!

“I think I was just very disheartened by the rejection, which is something I tell everyone, it’s like, this industry is just full of rejection 24/7. I then auditioned for Game of Thrones, and I got a no for that, then that’s kind of when I was like, ‘Oh, this is really difficult.’ I guess I really wanted that role.”

The role of Lyanna Mormont went to the incredible actress Bella Ramsey who would later go on to star alongside Pedro Pascal in HBO’s iconic series The Last of Us. With Bobbye Brown joining the cast of Stranger Things, the Netflix series became a cultural phenomenon with high ratings. The 2016 series is available to stream on Netflix in the U.S.
