While trying to find the meaning of life, Hemsworth discussed his desire for film direction. Opening up about his penchant for directing movies, the MCU actor recalled what his fellow actor from DC Universe, Ben Affleck told him about the filmmaking business.

While Chris Hemsworth enjoyed a decorated career following his collaboration with MCU, the actor was struck down by a life-threatening revelation about his health. Learning about his chances of getting Alzheimer’s with growing age, the 39-year-old actor decides to retire from his stagecraft and focus on his well-being and spend time with his family.

 However, the actor recently released his latest movie sequel Extraction 2. Thus, sitting for an interview with GQ to discuss his movie and his health, Chris Hemsworth reflected upon how he has been trying to find the meaning of his life. Thinking more and more about time, and the passing of it, while pondering how simple life is, Hemsworth mentioned finding peace in memories. 

Everything has more importance now, Because of the realisation that this isn’t going to last forever. I don’t want to leave a pile of rubbish behind. And I’m aware that there’s a few misses there.” Hemsworth mentioned.

It’s much easier just to sit behind the camera than to try and do both.” the 39-year-old stated.
