Tom Holland’s Instagram Blunder That Went Viral
In 2019, Tom Holland shared an Instagram post featuring Zendaya and Jacob Batalon from their visit to Disneyland to promote Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, what caught fans’ attention was the placement of tags in the post, as the actor placed Zendaya’s tag right on his crotch.
Not only fans but the Dune star also noticed the same and commented on the post, “I am assuming because you don’t know how to work ig, that is the reasoning behind my name placement,” followed by laughing emojis. The post soon went viral on social media, resulting in an embarrassing situation for the Uncharted star.

It wasn’t long before the actor realized his mistake and replaced the tag over his co-star’s eye. He also added a little thank you note to Zendaya in the caption, saying, “Thanks @zendaya for making me aware of my obvious blunder.” Later in an interview, Holland described the mishap as an accident.
Tom Holland Emphasised It Was an Accident
While promoting the 2019 film Spider-Man: Far From Home, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon sat down for an interview with On Demand Entertainment. Talking about his playful beef with the Marvel co-star Anthony Mackie, the interviewer suggested that the Falcon actor might not be a fan of Holland’s mishaps, like the viral post where he placed the Emmy winner’s tag on his crotch.
The Crowded Room actor, however, went into the defensive mode, stating that it was just an accident. “That was an accident. That was a total accident,” he said. The 27-year-old actress also quipped in, saying, “It was an accident because he’s Instagram stupid.” While both of them suggested that it was just another mishap of the Marvel star, fans find it hard to believe that he is unaware of how to tag people on Instagram.
