When I got the ‘Madame Web’ role, I ran into Lizzie (Elizabeth) Olsen in the hotel lobby and spoke to her about it for a bit, and that was helpful. She said she had a great time and… seemed very relaxed about it, so that was comforting.”

The actress, who has portrayed Wanda Maximoff for a long time, said that when actors visit her and ask her about joining the franchise, she always keeps telling them: “Just give them one.”

I think that way you have more control over… If you, let’s say, ‘Oh my God, this is the most fun I’ve ever had and I love this character so much, I want to do it again,’ you now have more creative control for the next one,” she explained on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast

Olsen appeared for the last time in the MCU in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Olsen believed she lost a lot of opportunities while playing the powerful mutant (via The New York Times):

It took me away from the physical ability to do certain jobs that I thought were more aligned with the things I enjoyed as an audience member, and this is me being the most honest. I had this job security, but I was losing these pieces that I felt were more part of my being. And the further I got away from that, the less I became considered for it.”

Elizabeth Olsen is not the only one to speak about getting fed up with one character for a long time. Earlier, in an interview with GQ, the Extraction actor Chris Hemsworth shared his thoughts about his role as Thor in the MCU. He got sick of the character rather quickly.
