Iman Vellani skyrocketed to worldwide fame when she starred in the iconic role of Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel in the 2022 MCU series. The actress recently starred alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris in the 2023 movie The Marvels.
With the failure of The Marvels at hand, there haven’t been many official comments about the box office collections until Iman Vellani. As per a Twitter post, Vellani alleges that the box office collections are false and that is “for Bob Iger”!

With Brie Larson, Vellani, and, Teyonah Parris joining hands for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the recently released 2023 movie was not quite what the people expected. The failure of the movie led to sparks within the MCU and audiences around the world.

As per a Twitter post, Vellani stated that she loved the movie and the people that she cared for also loved the movie. Stating that the box office collection is not in her hands, the actress stated that that’s for Bob Iger to worry about!
“I don’t want to focus on something that’s not even in my control, because what’s the point? That’s for Bob Iger. [The box office] has nothing to do with me. I’m happy with the finished product, and the people that I care about enjoyed the film.”
Talking more about the 2023 film, Iman Vellani revealed how she had fun working alongside Marvel legend Samuel L. Jackson and how the veteran actor demanded Vellani to elbow him hard.

When Vellani had to shoot a scene where she hit Jackson with her elbow, the actress was quite nervous. With Jackson being a veteran actor, the Pulp Fiction actor pulled Vellani aside and told her to “elbow” me (via Late Night with Seth Meyers)
“We do another take and I fully chickened out. Could not figure out the maneuvering of an elbow and did not do it. And he grabs my arm and turns to me and is like ‘Elbow me motherf–ker!’ and I was like, listen. For the record, he did not actually swear at me, that’s just how I heard it.’”
With the MCU facing chaos, The Marvels currently stands at a rating of 6/10 on IMDB and a meager 62% on Rotten Tomatoes. The recent release of this movie has earned $117.7 million at the global box office.
