Samuel L Jackson Disappointed to Lose to Jonah Hill

During an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Kimmel, Samuel L Jackson was informed about his ranking on the list of the actors who have the highest number of on-screen curses. The actor is known for delivering his curse words without any hesitation and is often seen doing so.

However, the Marvel star was shocked to learn that he did not have the top spot on the list. The talk show host told him that he was the third actor on the list, following the 21 Jump Street actor Jonah Hill and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio.

While Hill took the top spot with 376 curse words, and DiCaprio held the second position with 361 curse words, Jackson got the third place with 301 curse words throughout his career. The Secret Invasion star said, “That’s some bullsh*t.” as he reacted to the news.

He also claimed that there might have been some sort of mistake, claiming that someone must have miscounted. “No way, man. Jonah Hill. Really? And then Leo. Jonah Hill, then Leo. I don’t believe that. Somebody has miscounted,” he said.

Samuel L Jackson Does Not Mind Cursing on Camera

During the New York premiere of his action crime thriller film Shaft, Samuel L Jackson opened up about having curses in his dialogues. Talking about cursing on camera as a character, he said that he does not run away from it, and it’s nothing more than a dialogue to him.

I don’t run away from it. I step into it,” he said before adding, “For me, it’s really just another word; it’s another piece of dialogue, and it’s something that I know that I can work with.” He also shared that he embraces his onscreen parts and does not mind if he is linked with a specific word. The Pulp Fiction star stated that he does not have any method to do it, and it naturally comes out like any other regular dialogue in the script.
