Lola Glaudini, who shared the screen with Depp and Penelope Cruz in the 2001 film, revealed in a recent interview that the Oscar-nominated actor screamed at her, leaving her shaken, on her first day on the set.
Depp’s representatives have recently released a statement in response to Glaudini’s claims, who is known for starring in shows like the hit crime drama The Sopranos along with the underrated Marvel TV series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

In a recent appearance on the Powerful Truth Angels podcast, Lola Glaudini recounted the incident where Johnny Depp aggressively confronted her on the set of the 2001 film, Blow. The actress shared that she was told by the late filmmaker Ted Demme to laugh on a cue while Depp delivered a monologue.
However, upon following the direction, she was approached by a furious Depp, who berated her for pulling focus and disrupting his lines. “Who the f*ck do you think you are?” she recalled the 60-year-old actor’s words before adding, “I’m out here, and I’m trying to f***ing say my lines and you’re f***ing pulling focus. You f***ing idiot.”
Glaudini claimed that the filmmaker did not intervene or say anything. However, Depp later approached Glaudini with a “non-apology apology,” asserting his behavior to be impacted by his on-screen character and seeking reassurance that they were on good terms.
The Dark Shadows star’s representatives have recently released a statement in response to Glaudini’s claims. “This recounting differs greatly from the recollection of other members on set at the time,” the statement said while emphasizing that the actor has consistently valued positive working relationships with both cast and crew, as per Deadline.
