The Callisto Protocol was one of the most puzzling titles to release this year. It was a divisive title, particularly among the Dead Space fanbase, as some thought it to be a spiritual successor, while others thought that it was just an off-brand imitation of it. Nevertheless, if you’ve been wanting to try it out, now may be your chance.

The Callisto Protocol is a survival horror game from Striking Distance Studios. It is called the spiritual successor to the sci-fi horror classic game Dead Space and is set in a space prison colony on the moon of Jupiter called Callisto. The colony is called Black Iron and is attacked by aliens. Players will take control of one of the inmates.

The game promised an intense and frightening gaming experience for the players but didn’t do well commercially. The Callisto Protocol has been in the news for the last few months after the studio laid off over 30 employees. The game again recently came to the limelight as the founder and CEO, Glen Schofield, left the studio. The game, to be added to PlayStation Plus, will be available for both PS4 and PS5.
