It looks like real iterations of Captain America and Iron Man are not so far in the making as the United States Military has a deep interest in creating super soldiers. As dystopian as it may sound, the US military is reportedly interested in super soldiers inspired by popular movie characters.
So, is that a threat to Chris Evans’ Captain America? Super soldier serum-enhanced military personnel could be a reality in the near future as military scientists catch the interest in breeding programs to give super strength to their soldiers.

US Military Wants Emotionless Super Soldiers
As per a detailed report by Vice, the Pentagon is eyeing on the emotionless super soldiers who are designed to be the killing machines. In a military conference, ‘The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference,’ the five top members of the military-industrial complex reportedly discussed super soldiers at the Black Swan—Dawn of the Super Soldier panel. Using the panel, Lauren Reinerman-Jones, an analyst from Defense Acquisition University, said:
“So we have a wide range of panelists here to cover the kind of breadth that might involve a super soldier. Now, when we hear super soldier, what do we usually think? We think Marvel, right? Captain America…Iron Man,” (via Vice).
Synthetic blood and replacing night vision goggles with eye drops were also part of the discussion. Now, Marvel fans find the sense in Chris Evans’ Captain America as he is closer to reality, unlike Thor, Hulk, or Ant-Man.

For fans, it’s hard to imagine the emotionless super soldiers. Being a super soldier, Captain America was morally uplifted. He was not a killing machine but rather a defender who swore an oath to protect the planet. The current concept of genetically enhanced soldiers could go the way similar to the likes of The Boys’ Soldier Boy, but it’s complex and hard to tell as of yet.
