Some assert that the arrival of this Devil is the start of a catastrophic occurrence that will ultimately lead to the extinction of humanity.
Makima, her younger sister, makes the initial mention of her, and Yoshida follows suit later. It is predicted that in July 1999, she will make her way to Earth and trigger the apocalyptic event that will wipe out humanity and reign in the Age of Devils.
Though many theories about the Death Devil’s appearance and how the world would end when she takes center stage have surfaced online, nothing is known about her personality or appearance to date. However, a new theory has entered the Internet realm that states that Chainsaw Man might be a fragment of the Death Devil, or maybe the Death Devil herself.
The Connection Between Chainsaw Man and The Death Devil
The strongest Devil in the world, the Death Devil represents the greatest fear that anyone can have: death. The death devil and her sisters made up the four horsemen who fought the most fearsome demon among other devils in Hell: “Chainsaw Man” in a particularly vicious fight.
The Horsemen sisters are not a unified group, even though they have previously worked together to defeat Chainsaw Man; instead, they are independent individuals with conflicting agendas. It is unclear what the Death Devil’s present plans are, but if Nostradamus’ prophecy is correct, she will likely attempt to bring about humanity’s extinction and usher in the Age of Devils on Earth.
She is undoubtedly the most deadly villain in Chainsaw Man since she is meant to be even stronger than her sisters. However, her strength and many other instances gave birth to the theory that maybe the Chainsaw Man is the Death Devil.

Chainsaw Man is The Death Devil
A theory posted by Kaneurysm on Tumblr states that the Death Devil is the Chainsaw Man. The Death Devil has quite a lot of similarities with Chainsaw Man. Although not much is known about her, the things that are revealed about her connect her indirectly with the Chainsaw Man. The term “Chainsaw Devil” is hardly ever used to refer to Chainsaw Man; instead, a title is used. Naming death or related entities invites them, as is the case in many cultures.
In addition to being connected to childbirth, the umbilical cord scarf also symbolizes a way in which unborn children can perish. Throughout the entire series, Chainsaw Man is the only known devil who can end a devil’s existence permanently rather than causing them to reincarnate in a way that mimics permanent death for the devil.
If the Chainsaw Man as we know him is just a fragment of Death, then that would explain why he appears to be weak but is so important. Although this theory makes some sense, it would not be in the best interest of the series to show Chainsaw Man as the Death Devil because the ultimate fight between the Death Devil and Chainsaw Man has been hyped up quite a few times.
