Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom had a lot going for it. It was following up from one of the most well-doing films in all of DCEU history, the 2018 film, Aquaman. The film also featured an exceptional cast, with actors like Jason Momoa, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. On top of this, the director of the project was James Wan, who is a legend in the horror genre, having been a part of films like the Conjuring series, Malignant, and The Nun, and was also responsible for the first part.

On top of this, the ever-declining fame of the DCEU is not helping the film’s case. These are, perhaps, the reasons why this film ended up failing as badly as it did.

This has made this movie the second-lowest DCEU opening ever, following close to Ezra Miller’s The Flash. This has resulted in fans going online to talk about all the reasons why they did not like this movie.
