The elections are nigh! And we’re back to the point where even members of Hollywood can’t help but slip into factions. It won’t be amiss to say that no one can escape the polarization that the election of POTUS brings about. Despite all the side-taking, there are some usual faces who have carved out a reputation for their adherence to one particular faction. Michael Rapaport is one such man, who had carved out a reputation for his allegiance to the left wing. But the winds surely appear to be changing.
Michael Rapaport might be changing sides for this election
Michael Rapaport is a known name in left left-leaning lobby. He has been a long-time advocate for the Democrats and would have definitely voted for Joe Biden. But the years have rung in some changes. He isn’t the same old left-leaning person he once was. And this has manifested itself in the form of a deep distaste for Joe Biden.
The Friends star’s shift to the other side of the spectrum is nothing short of shocking. After all who would have expected a man who went on record to call former President Donald Trump “pig d–k Donald Trump” go on to say that he would consider voting for Donald Trump.
Michael Rapaport has lost all his love for Joe Biden
Michael Rapaport’s switch to the other side is a result of a chain of events, with Israel’s invasion of Hamas proving to be the last straw. Sharing how he felt in a recent interview with Visegrád24, he said,
“You know, in all honesty, I have educated myself so much since 2016, and I have a ways to go. My political views have changed immensely, and they’re changing at a rapid pace. I will not vote for Joe Biden. I do not support anybody from the squad; I think they’re totally full of s—t.” (Bounding Into Topics)
His disdain for the Biden camp doesn’t end there. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
Michael Rapaport will even consider voting for Donald Trump
Michael Rapaport continued,
“I think they’re dangerous, I think they’re racist hustlers, I think they’re cons, I think, inevitably, they want to get themselves production deals to produce documentaries, I think they’re three-card monte-playing bullsh—t artists, [and] I think they totally have an agenda. “I’m not supporting anybody that’s cool with the fact that it takes me two-and-a-half hours to get back into America from Toronto as it should, but it takes you two minutes to cross the border. I’m not down with that s—t,”
His frustration with the current regime means that he’ll be ready to swallow the bitter pill of voting for even Trump. He said,
“I have said, you know, after going down the rabbit hole, that at this point, when we’re doing this interview, voting for Trump is on the table. I will not support anybody who’s anti-Israel, I will not support anybody that is anti-making America safe.”
With the elections approaching, we can expect to see many such twists.
