Following the unfortunate passing away of William Hurt, Ford stepped in to portray the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the highly anticipated Captain America: Brave New World. And after coming across some recent pictures from the Captain America set, fans noticed Ford wearing ripped pants. And this sparked speculations about the Indiana Jones actor possibly transforming into the formidable Red Hulk, as seen in the comic books.
However, not giving up anything about the possibilities of his portrayal of Thunderbolt transforming into Red Hulk, Ford surprised fans by asking “What is a Red Hulk?”

In a recent interview promoting Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at Comicbook.com Ford was asked about his potential transformation into Red Hulk. Pointing out how some ‘eagle-eyed viewers’ noticed Harrison Ford wearing ripped pants, the interviewer questioned if the audience might be seeing Mr. Ford as the Red Hulk.
However, after a brief pause, the Star Wars actor inquired, “What is a Red Hulk?” Moreover, when the interviewer explained how the term refers to his character Thaddeus Ross’ alter ego, Ford simply answered with a surprised “Really?”
Further fooling around and safeguarding the secrets surrounding the direction of his upcoming movie, Ford playfully scolded his Dial of Destiny co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge for not updating him on the Marvel Universe’s intricacies.
However, vaguely hinting at the character’s fate in Captain America: Brave New World, the actor remarked, “It may or it may not” happen.

Well, there’s no doubt that Harrison Ford’s approach to handling questions surrounding his character’s future is an interesting way to avoid spilling any secrets. But was he really trying to do that or he seriously had no idea what Red Hulk is? There is no way of knowing that.
