“I never thought that I would be a leading man,” he shared. “I really was just hoping I could make a living as an actor and not have to supplement my income with some other side hustle… I thought I would be lucky to have a character part on a regular TV show.”

Though, life had other plans! He continues to keep himself grounded despite the stardom he is surrounded by in the industry.

No one ever believes this, but I never wanted to be rich and famous,” he said. “I just wanted to be an actor.”

Ford further opened up about being grateful for the immense support he received from his fans who had a great role in his successful career.

“I am very gratified that I still have the opportunities that I have to work, and I owe that to the audience.”

While fans would have to wait to see him in Captain America: Brave New World, his last portrayal as Indy in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is releasing on this June 30.
