Zack Snyder Appears To Have Given Out Key Details

While fans are still in dilemma whether to be happy with the trailer or be disappointed that they gave away key points, Zack Snyder appeared for an interview with Empire. Speaking about his upcoming space opera, the filmmaker broke down the storyline of Rebel Moon into two parts – the upcoming Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire and Part Two: The Scargiver.

Hinting at the myth of the deceased Princess Issa and how a prophecy connected to her also entwines with Kora’s story, Zack Snyder appears to have dropped major revelations about the storyline. “We had the titles for a long time. A Child Of Fire has a double meaning” Snyder began. He then continued to explain how Kora is also a child of fire since she was a war orphan whose house was burnt and therefore has a correlation to Princess Issa.

“[Kora’s] nickname is the Scargiver, which is also related to her relationship with Princess Issa. Those two myths are braided together in a pretty cool way, I think… The second movie is really a war movie. At the beginning, they harvest the crops, and we have a bunch of stuff in the village, sort of the ‘Why We Fight’ aspect of the movie. We have time for relationships. Then the next thing is the big battle. It’s really fun.”

Discussing which part of the movie will deal with which storyline, Zack Snyder appears to have dropped major revelations about the plot of the film. But while few fans might be upset with it, others are notably excited for the film to be released on Netflix.
