Sony Reportedly Planning For The Amazing Spider-Man 3 

Ever since fans witnessed the return of Andrew Garfield as the web-slinger in Tom Holland’s multiversal epic Spider-Man: No Way Home, they have been waiting for a potential threequel to Garfield’s Spiderman. And certainly noticing fans’ desire, Sony teased to deliver a sequel to 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Addressing fans’ demands on Twitter, Sony jokingly dropped a post claiming, “The Amazing Peter #3!” with a fake trailer consisting of Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman from different movies. And while the post got immense appreciation from fans, rumors have it that the Studios is eyeing to make a potential threequel of Garfield’s Spiderman movies.

Although Andrew Garfield confessed to having no desire to put on the Spiderman suit for the fourth time, Tom Holland claimed to have a keen desire for the threequel. “I would love to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3. I think what was so wonderful was how Andrew was able to kind of make amends with the character and the studio,” Holland confessed.  

However, currently, it appears as though even the Oscar nominee is striving to make a return.

Following the skidmarks of Sony’s rumor about a potential The Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie, even Andrew Garfield seems to play along. With Marvel Studios recently releasing Spider-Man: No Way Home – The Art Of The Movie book on July 12th, 2023, featuring a myriad of scrapped concept art, fans seem to have found something interesting from Garfield.

Posting a picture of a particular page from the recently released book, on Twitter, fans pointed out a section where Andrew Garfield seems to have teased a potential return as Spiderman. Quoting a section from Art of The Movie book, Twitteratti posted, “The story never ends”. Further adding the section where Garfield claims that his Peter Parker is still “out there” in the multiverse, the account sparked discussion.

Whether we film it or not, there’s a story happening in a universe somewhere, there’s endless potential with this character and other iterations. So yeah, he’s definitely out there doing something” Andrew Garfield wrote in the book. 

Appreciating the quote from the book, fans seem to unanimously wait for the potential The Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie, despite no official confirmation about the same.
