“Certainly, we shot that episode the longest, by far. The stunts were out of control. It was the most intense stunts I’ve ever done. Should we explain how we did it, or no?”

Fielder, who played Asher Siegel, went on to reveal how Stone was strapped to a ceiling. “You can’t tell that, for a lot of it, Emma is actually on the ceiling, strapped to it.” The La La Land and Poor Things star added, “I’m upside down.”

“And it drags her head back. They were saying she can’t be up there for more than a minute, or she’ll get spine issues,” Fielder said.

Even the stunt guy on the show was baffled by the lengths of the stars going insane heights. Stone revealed that Fielder turned purple while filming the scene. Notably, Oppenheimer director Christopher Nolan hailed the prowess of the show.

Stone played Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man alongside Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. Inherently, the comic book movie on the fan-favorite titular character involved heavy action sequences. Speaking with Refinery 29, Garfield revealed how hard it was for him to do the stunts in the movie. “As we know, your metabolism starts to slow down. I’m not a teenager. I’m 30 years old,” Garfield said.

“I’m not the boy I once was. In terms of the stunts, we talked about Bugs Bunny and the trickster archetype and making sure that’s what sets Spider-Man apart, and what Stan has always been so beautiful at writing into Spider-Man is the quips and the wittiness and the physical absurdity and enjoyment that Peter Parker feels when he’s in Spider-Man’s suit.”

Stone’s character was also involved in heavy action in the film franchise. Speaking with On Demand Entertainment’s Stephanie Prentice, the actor revealed that she loved the aspect of the action in the film. “I love to swing,” she told Prentice while speaking of her action on set.

The Curse is available to stream on Showtime, Fubo TV, and Paramount+ Bundles.

The Amazing Spider-Man franchise can be streamed on Disney+ and Netflix.
