The box office success of No Way Home and its multiverse exploration has sparked speculations that there would be a fourth Spider-Man movie in the future.

The fourth movie was first planned to be released in 2011. But director Sam Raimi was dissatisfied with the script and creative direction of Spider-Man 4. This led to internal disagreements and the project’s cancellation in that year.
