Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree is coming strong with new and terrifying bosses
After almost one complete year since its announcement back in March 2023, Shadow of the Erdtree is finally giving some more details about the launch and gameplay of the content. Yesterday, Bandai Namco and From Software confirmed that the gameplay trailer will be revealed today. Fans are excited, and a lot of new bosses were introduced in this short, three-minute video. Some very popular characters were introduced, and a very particular and anticipated cameo was at the end of the trailer.
Some very scary names, like Messmer the Impaler, were named in the gameplay. As is customary in a game developed by From Software, a new wave of highly challenging bosses makes its introduction, eliciting excitement from players as they strive to overcome these formidable adversaries through repeated attempts. The specific new characteristics of the map or even the new weapons were not very clear in the video; this particular gameplay was all about the story and the new bosses.
A long-awaited character, it appears, will finally be in Elden Ring
Miquella makes a very short but important cameo in this gameplay, so this could mean that the Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree will finally make the battle with the sister of Malenia happen. In Elden Ring, the Tarnished defeats and kills Malenia, so this vengeance could be real and extremely difficult. No more details about this were shown in the trailer. But fans have all that they wanted: new gameplay and the long-awaited release date of Shadow of the Erdtree. The price has also been revealed.
Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree will be available on June 21 for a very controversial price of $39.99 on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, PS5, and PC. The Elden Ring base game will be required to play this DLC. Players cannot handle the excitement; this DLC could be the biggest content launch in a very long time; Elden Ring sold more than 20,000,000 copies.
Tell us what you think of the gameplay. Will Miquella finally have her revenge?
