Sandra Bullock and George Clooney’s friendship looks as if they’ve been friends forever. Together, they’ve starred in big hits like (Ocean’s Eleven and Gravity), walked on red carpets, and never left a chance to speak well about each other whenever they could.
Even though they always had a strong bond, they’ve never taken their relationship to the next level, and the reason behind this is Clooney never wanted to break the “bro code” relationship between him and the actress.

People may think that their relationship built up after they both starred in the same movies together. But according to Bullock, the two first met at a mutual friend’s house and instantly became good friends.
The Lost City actress told Access Hollywood at the Los Angeles premiere of her film Our Brand Is Crisis in 2015: “It was just pretty funny… he was drunk.” She added:

Bullock said of their friendship while speaking with Canada’s Etalk in 2015 (via PopSugar):
“We’ve seen each other through many facets and stages of life, and this is just another one of those facets and stages.”
Bullock and Clooney have been by each other’s sides from marriages to children, as well as in significant career milestones.
The Reason Why Sandra Bullock and George Clooney Never Dated
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney have collaborated on the 2013 hit film Gravity. Their undeniable chemistry caught the eyes of many fans while they were promoting their film.
Although the two have always had a deep affection towards each other, that feeling was never romantic – even though there have been times when people thought they were dating.
In fact, Clooney told E! News in 2013 that he would never date his friend of “more than 20 years,” explaining that doing so would break the “bro code.”
“She was dating one of my best friends, there’s a certain bro code, you know what I mean? I’ve known her a long, long time.”
The Perfect Storm star told Entertainment Tonight (via Parade) in 2013 that he was the one Bullock usually drunk-dialed after having a few cocktails.
Despite this, the actor always praised Bullock for being beautiful inside and out. No doubt the two have an obvious and visible bond, but that never came to be more than friends.
