Joe Rogan does not hold back. The UFC commentator has never backed down from giving people a piece of his mind. Kevin Feige will know that from here onwards. In a scathing review of Marvel Cinematic Universe in the post-Avengers: Endgame era, Rogan spoke about what had gone drastically wrong with a franchise that was once ruling the hearts of one and all. According to him, success has been counter-productive for the franchise.
The heights Marvel soared!
The Marvel Cinematic Universe managed to become a household name in no time. Kicking it off with Iron Man in 2008, the franchise ruled the fans’ hearts for the ensuing decade, culminating in one of the most (deservedly) hyped movies of all time, Avengers: Endgame.
The 2019 flick was a global phenomenon, bringing together crowds from all walks of life. It was nothing less than a festival. Everyone flocked to theatres to watch the spectacle unfold before their very eyes. The movie would go on to become the second highest-grossing film of all time.

Things have not been going according to plan for Marvel Studios after the culmination of the Infinity saga. Joe Rogan has pointed out the same. The 55-year-old is a critic of the direction they’ve taken.
He said, “They are allowed to do weird sh*t now.” He might not be off the mark. The Multiverse has opened up infinite possibilities for the creators. And if not handled soundly, it is nothing short of a recipe for disaster.
Marvel needs to set its house in order
Joe Rogan couldn’t help but show the mirror to Kevin Feige. It is the disdain with which the franchise is moving forward which is the primary bone of contention for all parties concerned. He believes that the cult following that Marvel has worked tremendously in its favor, allows it to milk the fan base.
It remains to be seen how sustainable that approach is. Critics and fans won’t disagree that the movies haven’t been very good. Something is missing. We all hope that Feige & Co. find their mojo back as soon as possible. Otherwise, these might not be good bodings for them.
