“I saw an “unfinished” cut of The Flash three months before it released. I thought the VFX were the “unfinished” part. Knowing they didn’t change, seemingly at all, is definitely rough. Most of the VFX just didn’t look good, at all.”

Although this time around, fans were quite disappointed with his remark about the movie, many have shared his views about The Flash having poor and unfinished VFX. As always, Brandon Davis shared his views on Twitter and received both positive and negative reviews about his tweet and even though he agrees that The Flash was exceptionally good, he just wouldn’t watch it a second time due to the poor VFX.

DCU Stumbles at the Box Office With The Flash

The last 5 years have not been fruitful for the DC franchise as they have suffered some major backlashes from both the fans and the media. Even though DC’s past is filled with many setbacks 2023 was supposed to be a new beginning for the franchise with multiple new additions to the superhero community. But as it turns out, 2023 is no different from its previous years as both DCU releases failed at the box office. It has been a disappointing weekend for the fans as The Flash struggles to find a strong foothold on the box office collection.

The movie had a rather weak beginning, only earning a bit over $55 million at the box office on its opening weekend. Till now, the movie has earned a little bit over 172.2 million dollars at the box office with a massive budget of $200 million, moreover, the budget had to be increased due to all the delays caused by the pandemic and lockdowns. Shazam! Fury of the Gods (2023) also earned a similar amount, 133.7 million dollars with a budget of $125 million.
