Leo Woodall Claims He Was Clueless About His Homoerotic Scene in The White Lotus

One of the most talked about scenes in the 2nd Season of The White Lotus was the gay intimate scene in the show. The scene was extremely rare, but logically, it seemed to be fresher, majorly because the show compels its viewers to the gay characters, who are fully aware of their sexuality rather than mere hetero-foils.

HBO Fires Miloš Biković From The White Lotus For His Political Beliefs

Miloš Biković was hired by HBO and was all set to appear in the 3rd season of the dark comedy show. However, the Ministry of Ukraine had other plans for the actor, they took some clips and quotes that the Serbian-Russian actor made about Ukraine as well as some political topics like the annexation of Crimea and posted them to their X account (@MFA_Ukraine), tagging HBO. They asked the studio if they would be comfortable working with “who supports genocide & violates international law?”

“I was honored to be chosen to be a part of White Lotus, a TV series that I hold in high regard and with colleagues whom I deeply respect. However, my participation is not possible due to reasons beyond the realm of art and I will not bow to any narrative that seeks to compromise my integrity. I would like to thank everyone who stood by me. I wish my colleagues great success in creating the next season.”

Due to the unseen firing of Miloš Biković, Julian Kostov was hired by HBO to play the role that was previously meant to be played by the Russian actor.

The White Lotus can be streamed on Max.
