It’s got everything somebody who’s both a fan of anime or new to anime would enjoy.

Solo Leveling’s stunning visuals and electrifying action will captivate both new and veteran anime fans, immersing them in its enthralling narrative. He sang praises of the series’ animation as it has been produced by one of the greatest studio at the moment, A-1 Pictures. The team at A1 Pictures Animation Studio, famous for Sword Art Online, Fairy Tail, Kaguya Sama: Love is War, worked hard behind the worldwide success.

And they do not tone any of the violence or gore down.

Sung Jinwoo fearlessly fights diverse opponents, including humans, wolves, and serpents. The animation accurately depicts the blood and violence, pleasing dedicated fans. He expressed how it’s exhilarating to watch those high-paced, adrenaline-filled fighting sequences in animation.

Expanding on the topic, Aleks also remarked on the music composition of the series.

And we got the legendary composer Hiroyuki Sawano, making incredible music.

Hiroyuki Sawano’s soundtrack is a game-changer for the anime, adding energy and vibrancy to it. The battle themes create intense and tense moments for the viewer. He said the visual spectacle was excellent. But what actually makes the story so engaging is the fact that we get to dive very deep into the psyche of one specific character and see their journey through this particularly unfair and harsh world.”

The plot and narration were enticing for Solo Leveling voice actor

When asked how the series stays unique from other animes despite being considered isekai or isekai lite by fans, Aleks replied to The Screenrant.

“Once I got to dive into the contents of Solo leveling that it never felt like one to me.”

He explained that the concept of overlapping game systems or the isekai world into ours wasn’t groundbreaking. But what appealed to him was how they managed to explain it and how they managed to use it for the characters in the story. The narration and delivery made the show worthwhile for him.

Since its release in 2017, the story’s popularity has grown exponentially due to its engaging action, themes, and plot. It introduced many fans to South Korean manhwa.

“It felt like, you know, dungeon crawling and hunting wasn’t just like, “Oh, it’s our duty as heroes. It’s what we need to do.” It was more like, this is what some people do to pay rent.”

He commented on the realistic approach of the series towards the entire fantastical element. The series explores political influences and power systems in daily life by portraying people entering Dungeons as part of their jobs, illustrating the impact of Gates on society. This is one of the reasons why Solo Leveling has connected to the fans so well.
