Along with lining the main characters with a star cast, there have now been alleged leaks and speculative reports of a synopsis of the upcoming film, which is proving to be looking more like a bad thing than good. This short summary of the story has many flaws that the fans have figured out, especially about the narrative taking place in the Multiverse rather than Earth-616.

Even if the film was officially announced with its cast just a couple of weeks ago, fans are already waiting in anticipation for the release of the upcoming The Fantastic Four. And since everyone wants to know how this team of superheroes will be introduced in the franchise, there have been several speculations and alleged leaks that have discussed what story the film is going to follow.

This rumored narrative will follow the story of a different reality set in the ’60s that has been plagued by incursions of inter-dimensional entities, and to save his world, Reed Richards, played by Pedro Pascal, is doing everything that he can.

He soon finds out about the viability of time travel, which prompts him to make a time machine until his plans are stopped by the emergence of Galactus, which leads the team to defend their world from the cosmic consumer.

While everything seems to be thought out perfectly, many fans have pointed out some major flaws in the narrative, starting off with the story itself, which from an introduction standpoint, seems to be very complex and extensive, which is after the fact that it’s not even the complete picture yet.

Second, comes the retreat of The Fantastic Four to Earth-616, which is deemed to be the epicenter of all creation and every possibility, the team should’ve been on this plane of reality from the start and where they should’ve time-traveled into the future.

Considering that there have been no events that have been shown on Earth from other dimensions yet, this radical shift might lead to people losing their sense of continuity. Along with that, the time travel doesn’t make sense since they are in a different universe, which means they would have to make a Multiversal jump and not a temporal one.

Since this is the MCU we are talking about, most people expected there to be many minor and major changes in the story for the upcoming film. But these glaring flaws in the continuum, especially with the multiverse-hopping in the en, fans have their doubts.
