Travis Scott was one of the many performers at the 2024 Grammys, and he absolutely brought fire to the stage, quite literally. However, while performing his last song at the show, his fans were quick to point out that the rapper had added a line somewhere in there that was not there before. On a closer look, it appears Travis Scott was taking a shot at none other than the Grammy Awards themselves.

Ever since the nominees for this year’s Grammy Awards were announced, many people expected Travis Scott to finally break his curse and lift the trophy for Best Rap Album of the Year. Scott’s UTOPIA, which was released on 28 July 2023, was nominated in the category alongside the albums of Drake & 21 Savage, Nas, and others. Unfortunately for the Sicko Mode rapper, Killer Mike took the gramophone home for his album, Michael.

This was the ninth time that Scott had to return from the Grammys empty-handed. Needless to say, the rapper was not pleased, and he didn’t hesitate before letting the world know about his disappointment.

Last night, Scott took to the stage to perform three songs from his nominated album, UTOPIA My Eyes, I Know, and Fe!n. A fan on X pointed out that the rapper, while performing his last number for the night, improvised a little and added, “They slept on me ten times,” in the middle of the song. Check out the video below.

Scott has been nominated for a Grammy since 2017 for every year except 2023 in various categories. The categories include Album of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and so on. Having your name on the list of nominees almost ten times and not winning once was definitely frustrating for Scott, who didn’t hold back at the award show.

From Drake to the Weeknd to Beyonce herself, Scott’s album included guest appearances of many iconic artists. The star-studded album debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart, and all nineteen of its songs were on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Clearly, fans loved Scott’s newest work.

After his Grammy snub, fans took to X to voice their disapproval of Scott’s loss, stating that the rapper was well deserving of the award.

Not only was UTOPIA doing wonders on the Billboard chart, but it also commercially became Scott’s first number-one album in America. Do you think the Grammy Awards were wrong to not award the rapper for his 2023 album, or are you satisfied with Killer Mike’s win?
