The initial idea of the series was set to focus on Matt Murdock as a lawyer more than his alter ego. Amidst the Writers’ Strike, the series was put on hold. However, afterward, there seemed to be a change in the trajectory of the show, and an entirely different angle was considered. Chris Ord and Matt Corman, the writers of the show previously, parted ways with it. Fortunately, the legacy of Daredevil seems to be in good hands following the addition of Dario Scardapane of The Punisher.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil: Born Again Finds a New Showrunner

After the constant ups and downs of Daredevil: Born Again, there finally seems to be a ray of hope as The Hollywood Reporter shares the news regarding a certain positive development. Dario Scardapane, who previously worked on Jon Bernthal’s The Punisher is set to become the showrunner of Charlie Cox’s series. Although some scenes from the show that have already been filmed will be kept, there will be a different focus for it.

Additionally, Loki season 2’s directors, Justin Benson, and Aaron Moorhead will be in charge of completing the show and all that remains to be filmed and developed. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are to be credited as Executive Producers of the show as Scaradapane will work towards writing the remaining episodes keeping in mind what has already been filmed. However, it is still unclear as to how many episodes the series will consist of.
