Just a year after Disney severed ties with Gunn in July of 2018, he was reinstated in March of 2019 to carry out his swan song in the form of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which was released this year.

Fans Beg To Have James Gunn Fired From DCU

Ever since Gunn has taken over the DC division as the Co-CEO, he has upset fans over the new direction that he’s been boldly presenting.

Henry Cavill’s exit from the roster as Gunn decided to move ahead with a younger Superman attracted much heat. After displaying his passion for DC characters in the exclusive Fandome event in January, the resurfaced Twitter post may just create more problems for him.
