Actor Chance Perdomo, best known for his roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V, recently passed away at 27. According to statements issued by the BAFTA-nominated actor’s representatives, Perdomo’s untimely demise has been claimed to be a result of a fatal motorcycle accident.
In the same statement issued by Chance Perdomo’s reps, the authorities informed that no other individuals were involved with him in the crash. Meanwhile, as the representatives praised the actor’s years of work and passion for stagecraft, the actor’s colleagues appeared devastated by the news. Expressing their grief on social media, Perdomo’s co-stars paid tribute to the fallen star.
Chance Perdomo Passed Away at 27 After Fatal Accident
Born in Los Angeles, California, actor Chance Perdomo was actually raised in Hampshire, England, by his mother. Originally willing to pursue law, Perdomo eventually moved to London to try his luck in theatres and showbiz. Struggling for a few years, the actor eventually landed his big break in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, from 2018-2020.
Thereafter, the actor secured his role in Gen V and went on to star in a few other projects. However, his growing career and popularity came to a standstill after Chance Perdomo recently lost his life at the age of 27, to a fatal motorcycle accident. Following his untimely demise, the actor’s representatives issued a statement via Variety, informing the cause of death.
“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident. Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved. His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family’s wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
Informing the world about the actor’s death, the statement noted that no other individuals were involved in the accident. Further, acknowledging the actor’s work and passion for stagecraft, his reps asked fans and netizens to respect his family’s privacy.
Chance Perdomo’s Co-Stars Pay Their Tribute to the Actor
Meanwhile, people who worked with the actor as well as his fans appear devastated by the news. Right after Chance Perdomo’s untimely demise, Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures issued a statement via X, expressing their grief and extending their heartfelt support and condolences to his family.
“Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television extend our heartfelt thoughts and support to Chance’s family and all who loved him at this difficult time. We can’t quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature… Even writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense.”
Following the statement issued by Chance Perdomo’s reps and the heartfelt condolences shared by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures, the actor’s co-stars took to social media to express their grief on the matter. Praising the actor for his work and announcing their sadness to the world, Perdomo’s colleagues offered their sentiments.
“Wow. The first thing I said to him at the pilot table read was that he was one of my favourite actors on ‘Sabrina.’ He’s a standout. So much talent and a warm soul. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones, may he rest in peace.” Robert Bazzocchi commented.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa paid tribute to the fallen star, via his personal Instagram account. Calling Perdomo “one of the most talented young actors” he had worked with, Aguirre-Sacasa complimented the star and offered his prayers for the loss.
Further, even Patrick Schwarzenegger, who appeared in Gen V alongside Perdomo shared his deepest regret for the actor’s demise and took to X to share his feelings. Paying tribute to the star, Schwarzenegger claimed that it was a pleasure working with him.
