The world of The Boys has captivated audiences with its dark and twisted take on superheroes. The Boys spinoff series Gen V has been renewed for Season 2 at Amazon Prime Video. While Homelander, the series’ one of the central characters, has long been established as the most powerful Supe, Gen V introduces a new Supe who has the potential to take him down.
While some believe that it will be Black Noir, a mysterious Supe who is rumored to be even more powerful than Homelander and can beat the iconic antagonist; others say it may be Sam Riordan, played by Asa Germann, who could be up to the task. And, now, Gen V might have found one supe who can kill Homelander.
Who is the Supe that Can Take Homelander Down?
Gen V revolutionizes the world of The Boys by introducing a new generation of Supes, each with its own set of complex powers and moral ambiguities.
The Boys, the popular superhero TV series, based on the comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson follows a group of vigilantes known as “The Boys” as they attempt to take down Vought International, a powerful corporation that controls the world’s superheroes.
One of the most popular characters in The Boys is Homelander, the leader of the Seven, Vought’s premier superhero team. Homelander, played by Antony Starr is a powerful and arrogant Supe who is secretly a psychopath.
Throughout the series, Homelander has been the subject of much speculation about who will eventually kill him.
Marie Moreau who made a cameo in The Boys and is the lead star of Gen V might have the potential to kill Starr’s character but there is another Gen V character, who can surely take him down. Cate Dunlap, a popular junior at Godolkin University, as well as Golden Boy’s former girlfriend, might be the one who can kill Homelander.
She has mind control power which allows her to compel people to obey her instructions when touched. She can also erase people’s memories.
All these abilities along with her experience make her an extremely powerful Supe that can kill Homelander. Episode 6 of Gen V shows how powerful she is than shown earlier. So, she could be the one!
