Liam Hemsworth is officially getting ready to replace Henry Cavill as the Geralt of Rivia as the first part of the third season of The Witcher makes itself at home on Netflix. The series has been attracting a lot of negative attention because of the rumored reasons as to why Cavill decided to leave the series. This was also one of the biggest reasons why the viewership of the series is also gradually declining.
Now that Hemsworth will be taking over as the character, there is a split between the fans wanting to watch it for Cavill and not for Hemsworth. Another half of them are confused about whether or not it would be ideal to keep watching the series because of how much it is drifting from the source material. However, a similar problem could be rising.
Liam Hemsworth Is Relying On The Source Material To Get Ready For The Witcher
While Henry Cavill had always been a fan of The Witcher games and books, Liam Hemsworth is using the source material to prepare himself fully for the role of Geralt of Rivia. The series will be seeing the actor take over the lead role now. There is speculation that because of Hemsworth’s reliance on the source material, he can develop a similar opinion to Cavill.
This could form into a repeated cycle and fans have found themselves mocking the situation in front of them. Cavill had allegedly left the role because of how much the series had been drifting from the source material no matter how much he tried telling them not to. This cost them viewers and their lead actor. Now that Hemsworth is also referring to the books, he could become a fan much like the Man of Steel actor, and that could also cost the series another lead.
Fans Mock Liam Hemsworth’s Dedication To The Source Material
Fans have been constantly pointing out the fact that there is a massive possibility of Liam Hemsworth also leaving the franchise because of The Witcher’s negligence of the source material. This could become a repeated cycle which could cost the series their main lead again and again. Despite persuasion and interference, if there is no way to change the script, then this could be a big possibility.
It won’t matter either way. The show is unlikely to survive more than a season with him regardless of how well he does. The IP has been irrevocably tarnished.

The series is loved by fans because of its dedication to the source material. Their drifting from it causes worry for the fans and further leads for them to be conflicted on whether or not they should like it. Now this possibility will be creating an even bigger worry for the audience.
