The Palworld craze continues as gamers don’t look like they will stop getting tired of the game anytime soon. The game continues to top Steam charts at the time of writing, as Palworld continues to top Steam charts with player count staying well over the 2 million mark ever since it reached the figure first just a few days after the game was released.
As players continue to collect all the “Pals” in the game, one player shares footage of a rare catch, as they will continue to consider themselves rather lucky as this is a feat that will now be talked about for a while.
Palworld Fan Catches a Pal with a 0.03% Catch Chance
As players continue to collect as many “Pals” as they can collect in Palworld, one player has bagged a lucky creature with a chance of 0.03%. The sensational game has already seen more than 130 creatures being added to the game. Of the several creatures or Pals in the game, some of them are considered quite rare for players to collect and players need to be extremely lucky to catch them.
One of the players shared a clip on Reddit catching a Level 45 Jormuntide with full health in a Mega Pal Sphere. Players use spheres to capture Pals in the game, highly unlike a method seen in any other game.
These spheres can be crafted and upgraded to have the best chance of catching Pals. When this player caught the Level 45 Jormuntide, he was using the second-weakest sphere in the game named Mega Pal Sphere. The clip shows the player trying to capture Jormuntide as the Pal continues to escape.
The player, however, continues his attempts and is eventually rewarded after around four attempts capturing the Pal with a capture success percentage of 0.03%. Needless to say, the Reddit post flared up immediately with several users complimenting the player while others also noticed something that they didn’t realize was possible in Palworld.
Players Didn’t Realize Sliding is Possible in Palworld
While most of the comments in the Reddit post revolved around congratulating the player for this unbelievable achievement, there was something else that players noticed too. This user left a comment after realizing players can “slide” in the game, just like several others in the post.
One of the users replied explaining the simple process, “Press crouch while running downhill” to go down sliding. One of the users also commented having repeated a similar feat in the game after capturing a Pal with a 0.07% chance, while another mentioned having made a catch at 0.04%.
Players continue to capture pals with surprising results and also continue to learn new tricks at the same time. All of this shows the game’s popularity growing more and more every day. Despite Nintendo’s indirect allegations of plagiarism, fans have been quite vocal about their support for the game.
