Palworld keeps getting more and more popular; the game has already sold more than 8,000,000 copies. This amazing number came just after 9 days of being released; the game’s in Early Access. Pocket Pair is the team behind Palworld. They just launched a new update for the Steam version.
This update fixes some issues with the initialization of the game and other bugs. Also, some exploits and cheats that gamers found.
Palworld update can be downloaded now
This update for Palworld applies to Steam’s v0.1.3.0, which can be downloaded now. As for the Xbox version, it is still in v0.1.1.1, and the devs are saying that the update will be available “as soon as it is ready.” The roadmap of the game has a bright future ahead, adding several new modes and content.
Some fixes with this update are bugs in the loading screen; many players reported that the game never exited the loading screens. Other errors include that the world date will display correctly, and it was reset. Texts were corrected. Pocket Pair also implemented some solutions to the cheats and exploits that the game had.
The devs promise that fixing all the issues is the top priority for the studio. Palworld is getting heat from all sides because of the major sales and the possible lawsuits from The Pokémon Company because of the resemblance of some pals to the Pocket Monsters. And to all this, PETA said that the game has animal cruelty.
New content is on the horizon
Pocket Pair has already announced a roadmap for the game that, later this year, will include things like PvP, raid battles, an arena, and cross-play. We don’t have a date for this new content, but the team confirms that it will be available some time this year. The Palworld community keeps getting bigger and more faithful to the game.
Another new addition will be the possibility to visit new islands in the game; this will certainly mean that we will see new pals not very far from now. At the moment, there are 135 pals that are divided into nine elements. Some of these can use weapons to help defeat opponents.
Devs already said that the game is only 60% complete, so we can expect much more content in the future. Palworld appears to aim for the long term and not only be the game of the moment. The title reached the top of the list of concurrent players on Steam at the same time.
