Welsh actor Catherine-Zeta Jones is one among the many actors who have proved that good looks and acting talent can go hand in hand. Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Opinion on Stunts and Stunt Professionals

Hollywood star Catherine-Zeta Jones has never shied away from a challenge on-screen. The Oscar winner has embraced her daring side by performing her own stunts without injuries in National Treasure: Edge of History. But Zeta-Jones has also clarified that her view regarding doing one’s own death-defying stunts is very different from someone like Tom Cruise who is popularly known to push the envelope as far as action is concerned. Speaking about the right time and the need to do action, Zeta-Jones said,

“Certain stunts in movies and stuff, you have to do, unless you’re Tom Cruise and you really want to fly out of a plane. I’m not Tom and I admire him for all he does. But for me, it’s a wonderful career. Those stunt people are wonderful,”

The star also added that her love for cinema is a catalyst for her to try her hand at directing sometime in the future depending on the nature of the project that falls into her lap.

The star who has had a consistent career with an impressive filmography, has openly acknowledged the role of her family and their influence in getting her to where she is today. Speaking fondly of her children, Zeta-Jones said,

“Both my daughter and Dylan have been so incredibly supportive to me, not just as an actor, but just me, you know. I’ve been extremely blessed to be able to have both in my life.”
